Miguel Ramlatchan

Dr. Miguel Ramlatchan is the Assitant Vice President for Academic Technology Services in the Office of Distance Learning at Old Dominion University. Dr. Ramlatchan's primary focus is on the technical and operational support for online students, faculty, and staff, the design of learning and communication systems, and the use of technology to foster engagement and learning. Dr. Ramlatchan's primary research focus is on the design of effective online multimedia learning environments and the impact of social presence on learning effectiveness and motivation.
